The party was for a 21st birthday as well as to view a Saturday night fireworks display in Temple. Four men were asked to leave. The men began to leave, but one of them stabbed Schildt as they left. They drove off in a pickup truck parked on Beaumont. Kristoffer came around the corner from the side of the house and said, 'I was stabbed,' and down he went".
A SENSELESS ACT OF VIOLENCE. Toffer's accused killer is charged with first & third degree murder and related charges.

Muhlenberg Township man fatally stabbed at birthday party
WHY? Why would someone do this? Why would anyone do this?
It just didn't need to happen. It's just senseless. Kristoffer was a good dude. He wouldn't hurt a fly. He was one of the neighborhood kids. All the kids were friends around here. Late-night weekend parties in the neighborhood are common. Neighbors often get together.

Man who fatally stabbed guest at Muhlenberg party sentented to 14-35 years in jail Guilty plea before Judge Paul M. Yatron to third-degree murder.
The sentence was based on a plea agreement between First Assistant District Attorney M. Theresa Johnson and Assistant District Attorney David R. Golberg and Geisinger's Philadelphia lawyer Jack McMahon.
After waiting approximately 21 months, 13 court delays, & three plea hearings we have finally have gotten some justice," wrote Cindy. "Friends and family will always miss Toffer. We are content with the sentence even though nothing will ever bring Toffer back to us. Not a day goes by with out thinking of him & missing him. I would like to say that this is finally over, but for those of us who knew and loved him, nothing can make this truly over.

Man Admits To Murder At Party
I remember exactly what I was doing at this time 3 years ago...I was eating a soft pretzel at the Temple carnival that Jenna didn't want to finish, dipping it in cheese to try to hide the fact that she left it soggy & w/out any salt. Jenna moved on to singing along w/ a nice lady singing karaoke. The lady sang "Sweet Escape" & Jenna added the "woowhoo" parts. I sat there enjoying the show w/out a care in the world, having no idea what I was going to wake up to the next day or how my life was about to change forever. It feels like just yesterday you were so cruely taken away from us. There is not a single day that goes by that I don't think of you...all the moments we shared & what should have been. As I sit here, fighting back tears, there is still a small part of me that thinks this is just a nightmare & I will wake up soon. I love you & miss you Toffer. Forever in our thoughts, Always in our hearts RIP 5/6/86-7/13/08
